Cold Sore Balm

Thyme Heal’s Cold Sore Balm not only targets Herpes viruses it also helps to heal skin and prevent secondary infections.  Use of Cold Sore Balm helps break the cycle of recurring Herpes infections as well as healing infections quickly.  It should be used at the first sign of nerve “tingling” or throughout the infection phase and may be applied as often as required.

Active ingredients are:

Lemon Balm - better known for making tea, this amazing herb has been scientifically established as inhibiting Herpes viruses.  Clinical trials concluded that when used on Herpes simplex infections it made skin heal more quickly, increased the intervals between recurring infections, prevented the spread of the virus and gave rapid relief from symptoms.  Lemon Balm is a strong anti-oxidant with an anti-inflammatory component.

Hypericum - a much prized and useful herb, this plant is an antiseptic and has a proven antiviral action against herpes viruses. It has a long tradition of being used topically to heal a wide range of skin complaints. In Greece the herb is used topically to treat shingles.

Pau d’arco - a South American herb with centuries of traditional use, it has been known in the west only since the 19th Century.  Pau d’arco has strong antimicrobial properties, is active against Herpes viruses and is anti-inflammatory.

Thyme & Tea tree oils -  these 100% pure therapeutic grade essential oils provide a broad spectrum antimicrobial action against a range of fungi, bacteria and viruses.
